Evaluation
Looking back at the final product I can say I was quite surprised with the turn-out as we did run out of time and didn't realise the length of the video was supposed to be the maximum of 5 minutes. Knowing that we had to cut the video down a lot. And instead of ending the film we left the story with a cliff hanger cutting of the 5th scene.
My role in the film was make-up and an actor. Overall I was not happy with my performance or make-up. Because I felt like I could have done better with the FX as I've used it before and I felt I could have done better. However when it comes to acting i've never done it before and I'm not comfortable infront of a camera.Subsequently I felt like I let down the film a bit because of my mistakes.
Looking at peer feedback there is a mixture of negative and positive feedback. We received positive feedback on our frame work , editing, special effects, music and the camera motion. Our negative was on lighting ( outside) and character realism. But in defence when filming the outside footage we were experiencing some weather problems and it changed dramatically from dark clouds and rain to sun.
As a team I think we worked very well together as we managed to film and complete the product and still manage to have fun.I would say the most impressive part of the video was the filming as I found it very slick and flowing with the narrative at the same time. The negative point I would say is the cliff hanger as I felt like the whole story would have been a great short film but unfortunately we didn't have the time to complete filming or even present it as our maximum was 5 minutes.
